I grew up in Christiana, TN, and taught at my alma mater Riverdale High School for 16 years.  I taught 7th grade science at Community Middle School in Unionville, TN, for three years before coming to Rockvale High School last year. This will be my second year at Rockvale High School. I am an active member of the Tennessee Environmental Education Association (TEEA) and current secretary of the Tennessee Science Teachers Association (TSTA). I am passionate about getting students connected to nature in order to encourage stewardship of Tennessee's natural resources.
