I am excited to be your teacher this school year for AP Seminar and AP Literature. On this website, you will find resources for your class as well as answers to frequently asked questions. On the side tabs, you will find individual information relevant to your particular course.

What is the best way to get in contact with you?
The best way to get in contact with me is through email (verbruggenc@rcschoolsnet). Per school policy, I will respond to emails within 48 hours during the school week. I try my best to respond same-day to emails received during business hours but cannot guarantee a same-day response.
What other ways can I reach you?
Students are encouraged to reach me through either their school email or through Remind. Students will receive the code to sign up for Remind in class. Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for Remind as I will often send class reminders through the app. Please DO NOT use Skyward to try and get in contact with me; the software doesn't notify me when I have a message so it's difficult to send a timely response.
What learning platforms will you use this year?
Students will primarily use Schoology as their learning platform this school year. Schoology can be reached through Clever. In tandem with Schoology, we will use Microsoft Office 365 products, which students will be able to access through their school email. For AP classes, we will use College Board's AP Classroom and Digital Portfolio platforms, both of which can be found on the College Board website.
