Welcome to English III!

 

I look forward to having you in my class this year. We will be studying American Literature and reading a variety of different texts while kicking up our writing game a notch. I love to write and hope to instill that same love within you before the end of the term. Make sure you check your grades regularly through Skyward and your assignments in Schoology as all work is housed there. IF you are unable to access Skyward, you must contact the attendance office to get this corrected as soon as possible.

 

 

This is my third year at Rockvale High School. In addition to teaching English III, I am the Yearbook Adviser and teach Journalism. I have been married to my husband for nearly 20 years , and we have two children, two dogs, and a cat. Football is my absolute favorite sport to watch with college basketball and baseball coming in a close 2nd place tie. I am also a huge Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans fan! I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree at Freed-Hardeman University and hope to be finished in December 2025-fingers crossed! When I am not at school, I enjoy traveling to the beach with my family, relaxing at my home, and playing trivia and card games.
