About the Club

Journalism is all about story-telling. But the stories we tell aren't fictional. These are the real stories of Rockvale High and its community. 

Students will write articles, take pictures, and film stories of events and happenings around Rockvale High School.  

Expectations: 

Students must 

• Miss no more than two meetings in a quarter. 
• Complete stories by deadline (this may mean a weekend turn-around). 
• Be willing to attend school-wide events like games and fundraisers.  
• Be flexible and a good team player. 
• Get picked up in a timely manner each week.  

Our weekly meetings: 

• Every Monday after school until 4:30. 
• Student elected editor will run a Friday virtual check-in. Be sure that you check in at some point on Fridays! 

Journalism club has no academic requirements. To join, you must: 

• Sign and return this contract by October 14th
