Art Classes at Rockvale HS.

2023-2024 school year art students

 

Welcome! I am excited to get to know each of you this coming year. Whether you will be joining me for Art 1 or an advanced Art class, we are going to have a great time growing as an artist this year.

 

 As you begin to prepare for class please be sure to have the following supplies (do not get dollar store or off brands as the quality will frustrate you - Crayola, Arteza, Prang, Sargents, Michaels, Prisma, Stadtler all work well):

 

* A SKETCHBOOK - (Michaels has them for $5- make sure it is roughly the size of a piece of paper (11x14) all students are required to have a sketchbook in class for every class period. 

*SKETCHING MATERIALS (sketching pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener)

*SET OF COLORED PENCILS

*A SET OF WATERCOLOR PAINTS

*A SMALL BRUSH SET

*A SET OF WATERBASED MARKERS

*ANY PENS/MARKERS/DRAWING/PAINTING SUPPLIES THAT YOU WANT TO TRY TO USE - If you have it here at school we will find opportunities for you to play with it :)
