Welcome to Rockvale High School!  I am glad you are in my class!  Make sure to look at my syllabus (see below).  Make sure you pay attention to the grading policy and information about calculators. 
I want you to be successful in Algebra1 and you can have success by putting forth the effort of doing the work, asking for help, and persevering through struggle.

*If you miss my class for ANY reason, this is the process for staying caught up:

  •     Go to my website (you get there by going to the Rockvale website, clicking “Directory” in the middle of the page, then clicking on my name).  Once you are on my website, click the Term tab we are in and see what I am teaching on the date of your class period.
  •     Then go to Schoology to get the link of the videos of that lesson. The links to the videos are under each topic.  If it doesn't redirect you immediately then click on the blue title.
  •     On Schoology access any worksheets or class notes I refer to on the video that you will need for that lesson.
  •     When you finish the assignment, bring it to me when your class meets so I can put credit into Skyward. I will not ask you for your assignment.  It is your responsibility to get it to me.  All missing assignments are entered as zeros in Skyward
 

Hello Class of 2029! My name is Dr. Couture. I am the Freshman class sponsor (room 529). 

We will be utilizing the BAND app to communicate with the freshman class. Please take a moment to click this link and join our BAND app. Through the BAND app we will disseminate information that is important to the freshman class. 

Currently, there is a poll on the BAND app for students to answer. Please take a moment to answer the poll. 

The freshman class color is Carolina Blue. The t-shirt / crew neck will only be offered in the freshman color. During pep rallies students wear their class colors and during class competitions (for example, homecoming week) the freshman compete in their class color. Because the shirt doesn’t say “freshman” this shirt could be worn  every year of their high school experience and could be a nice piece of memorabilia four years from now. 

 

Remember to join the BAND app (and turn those notifications on) to stay up to date on the class of 2029!
