Welcome to Rockvale High School! I am glad you are in my class! Make sure to look at my syllabus (see below). Make sure you pay attention to the grading policy and information about calculators.
I want you to be successful in Algebra1 and you can have success by putting forth the effort of doing the work, asking for help, and persevering through struggle.
My syllabus, learning resources document, and the bell schedule are at the bottom of this page.
*If you miss my class for ANY reason, this is the process for staying caught up:
- Go to my website (you get there by going to the Rockvale website, clicking “Directory” in the middle of the page, then clicking on my name). Once you are on my website, click the Quarter tab we are in and see what I am teaching on the date of your class period.
- Then go to Microsoft Teams (the code is on Schoology because everyone was instructed to join this on the first week of school) to watch that particular video. Videos are located under “files”.
- Then go to Schoology (you get there through Clever) to access any worksheets or class notes you will need for that lesson.
- When you finish the assignment, bring it to me when your class meets so I can put credit into Skyward. I will not ask you for your assignment. It is your responsibility to get it to me. All missing assignments are entered as zeros in Skyward.
