The Fueling Station
'The Fueling Station' is Rockvale High School's 'snack' store in which students in the Business and Entrepreneurship Practicum course maintain and operate during all school lunches.
The Business and Entrepreneurship Practicum course is a capstone course, serving as a fourth level Marketing Management course for students in any Business or Marketing Pathway. The course is designed so students learn the basics necessary to operate a retail-like store. Topics includes, but are not limited to inventory, product ordering, budgeting, money management, customer service, theft, and soft skills such as problem solving, thinking, organizational, and communication skills. 'The Fueling Station' allows students real-world experience in operating a retail store, while providing customer service to their teachers and peers.
A prerequisite for the Business and Entrepreneurship Practicum course is atleast two earned credits in any Business or Marketing underclassman courses. Any student, who would like to apply for this course and work in 'The Fueling Station' may pick up an application from Mrs. Vining, in room 301.
