Try Out Information:

Requirements for Tryouts

1. Preseason Practices

• You will need to enroll in these classes.  There is a cost associated. 
• Please email Premier Athletics to register with Rockvale High School Football/Competition Cheer. Email Lisa: [email protected]
• Practices will be held Tuesdays March 10, 17, & 24 from 5:00-6:30 pm.
• Attire: Shirt/Tank, Shorts, Bow in Rockvale Colors. White no show socks, cheer or tennis shoes. 

2. Football/Competition Cheer Application

This is an electronic form that will need to be completed. You will need to fill out some general information about the cheer candidate, electronically agree to the Cheer Agreement, Uniform Rental Agreement, and Fundraiser Agreement. You will also need to upload a copy of your most recent report card and proof of residency.

3. Teacher Recommendations

• Each candidate must forward the Teacher Recommendation to FOUR
  current teachers (from the 25-26 school year- fall or spring) . TWO of these
  must be core classes.
  - Recommendations must include the teacher’s SCHOOL EMAIL when completing
  the form.
  - All responses are submitted confidentially to the coaches via the teacher’s
  email address provided. 
• Football/ Competition and Game Day/ Basketball both have access to teacher recommendations. This only needs to be completed once if interested in both teams.

4. Final Forms Account

From RCS Athletic Department:

Parents and Athletes  can begin working on the 26-27 paperwork after March 1st.  The athlete and parent must go into their account, where they will see a large blue button that directs them to register for sports for next year. The parent should click that, at which time they will see next year's offerings that are currently open, which until April 15th will only be cheer.

Then they will see a blue box that says register for 25-26, they can only register for cheer.  If they move schools, such as a middle school athlete moving to a high school, they can register at their new school.  If they are currently an athlete participating in a sport, they will remain on their current school's roster but also show up in cheer at their 25-26 school.

Accounts MUST be at 100% in order to be eligible for tryouts—DO NOT DELAY GETTING THIS DONE! You will be required to upload documents to this site.

• Current Physical must be uploaded to the Finals forms website
• Dated March 1, 2026 or after.
• Doctor’s Signature and Date must be visible on the uploaded form
• Please try to upload physicals in ONE submission (Scan the document instead of taking individual pictures of each page. 

Interviews- for candidates not currently attending RVHS. Link will be posted in Try Out Band—only candidates NOT currently at RVHS should use the sign-up genius.

Current RVHS Students will be pulled through Flex Time during RT.
