Across Rutherford County, high school students in health science programs are celebrating major milestones as they earned their pins and certifications in Clinical Medical Assisting (CCMA), Clinical Patient Care Technician (CPCT), and Physical Therapy Technician programs. These accomplishments mark not only the completion of rigorous coursework and hands-on internships, but also the beginning of bright futures in the healthcare field.
Students who earn such certifications have demonstrated competency through nationally recognized exams, including those offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). These certifications position students ahead of their peers, whether they choose to enter the workforce immediately or continue their studies in post-secondary healthcare programs.
Ceremonies included heartfelt pinning traditions, celebrating both student achievements and the support of teachers, mentors, and clinical partners.
These students have demonstrated a deep commitment to their future in healthcare and have completed programs that not only give them a head start but also provide tangible certifications recognized across the nation. As they graduate, they carry with them the skills, knowledge, and compassion to serve others and make a difference in their communities.
