Welcome to Mr. Ingeneri's classes for 2023-2024. I have all the ACT Math classes. I love teaching and am looking forward to empowering my students to be and do their best!
Parents and students: I've already given out a course "syllabus" that contains what we're doing and how students are graded. To summarize: During the semester students get 14 of my handouts on various ACT topics (some quizzed on) and take around 10 actual ACT math tests. We also have an online program (Mathchops) for students at any level to practice in a fun atmosphere. Re tests: Students MUST TAKE NOTES OR PICTURES OF PROBLEMS MISSED (WHICH I DO ON BOARD UPFRONT) OR THEY CANNOT BE SUCCESSFUL. JUST TAKING TESTS WITHOUT CORRECTING FAILURES AND STUDYING THOSE CORRECTIONS IS NOT ENOUGH TO REALLY SUCCEED AND GET A MUCH IMPROVED MATH SCORE ON THE REAL ACT. Tests count 60% of grade and are not tabulated on score but on progress, so even a lower level student can get a high grade if he/she improves on test scores during the semester.
