PARENT MEETING DATE CHANGE
Please note: the 2025 Girls VB Parent Meeting has been moved to Thursday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m., in the RVHS Lecture Hall. Please enter through the doors by the portables.
There will be a PARENT MEETING for all players who made the team on Thursday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m. (please note date change) in the RVHS Lecture Hall. Please try to attend this meeting, as we will review lots of important information. If attending, please come through the doors by the portables. All information will be linked below for those who cannot attend. Please read over this information at your earliest convenience.
Please see the linked schedule below for dates regarding summer practice. Practice runs throughout much of June; many players are finishing up with their club teams during June. Due to this, June practices are OPTIONAL, but strongly encouraged. Team practice begins in July and runs throughout the rest of the season. All practices are MANDATORY outside of priorly approved absences. If your child cannot meet the requirements of the practice schedule, please contact the head coach as soon as possible.
Making the volleyball team does not guarantee playing time, regardless of grade, being on the team previously, etc. We are in it to win it each year, therefore playing time is not equal time for each player. Hard work, leading by example, improvement, hustle, teamwork, and sportsmanship help gain playing time.
